Better cash visibility. Not another savings claim.
Hard savings reduce cost. Payment terms change timing.
A negotiated lower price can improve the economics. A longer payment term can change when cash leaves. Show both—but do not count a payment deferred into another period as money saved.
- 01
Separate facts and assumptions
Invoice due dates, signed payment schedules and estimated receipt dates carry different certainty. Make that basis visible instead of presenting a single unexplained number.
- 02
Reconcile commitments and invoices
Match the invoice to the PO and underlying obligation. Forecast only the remaining uninvoiced commitment; exclude paid items and avoid counting the same cost twice.
- 03
Agree the implementation scope
Confirm the source systems, currencies, tax treatment, refresh cadence and relevant milestone data.
